Abby is a 3-year-old tortoiseshell cat that is the longest resident at Stray Haven. She arrived in November of 2013, and is the only resident remaining from 2013.
Quite timid on arrival, Abby has grown accustomed to guests and human contact. She spent her first several months hiding in a cardboard box.
She lives well with other cats, and just like black cats, tortis are often chosen last. There is no adoption fee for Abby, just a $40 spay fee required. This includes current vaccines, a feline leukemia test, a free vet visit and de-worming.
Visit Abby at Stray Haven located at 194 Shepard Rd. in Waverly during shelter hours of Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Wednesday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
