In Waverly, and during “Wreaths Across America”, members from the VFW and the American Legion participated in a wreath laying by Mayor Dan Leary, and County Legislator Ray Case.
According to participants, four cemeteries and four War Memorials were adorned with wreaths to honor veteran graves.
The volunteers will be looking for sponsors next year to help with the purchase of wreaths so more can be placed on veteran graves throughout the Valley area.
