Charles H. Bassett Youth Foundation awards 2014 President's Volunteer Service Award

Dave Woodburn, Jean Caporal, Colleen Dewey-Wright, Patti Halliday and Bob Bassett accepted the national volunteer award at the Ah-Wa-Ga Center on Nov. 24, 2014.

The Board of Directors of the Charles H. Bassett Youth Foundation, Inc. recently was awarded the 2014 President’s Volunteer Service Award for the Board’s volunteer activities this past year in Tioga County providing student scholarships in Binghamton, Cooperstown and Owego, giving youth awards and small grants to youth serving organizations which organize community service and beautification projects for all ages, and for being volunteer stewards of the Foundation’s Ah-Wa-Ga Center for service, education and local heritage at 34 1/2 Lake Street in Owego.

Bassett Youth Foundation in partnership with the Community Foundation For South Central New York is celebrating its twentieth year of service to children, youth and families.
