‘Luke’, safe at home!
On Thursday, we received word of a happy reunion of a dog who had been missing for four days, and how grateful its owners were when Luke was returned safely following a combined search, and support from the community. Here is an excerpt from this happy reunion.
“We got LUKE back today! Thank you to all the good people on South Apalachin Road and Pennsylvania Avenue whom we spoke with and heard from. Thanks to the folks at the golf course, to Marty who called us, and the guy on Card Road who supplied the hunting vest. Special thanks to Jason the mail carrier and his wife Samantha – who finally secured a very frightened dog in their garage. After four days and nights of being out in the ‘wild’ Luke is safely home and resting in his bed. Thanks to all, especially for caring!”
