Blessed Trinity & St. Patrick Catholic Church will host two “Longest Night” Christmas Prayer Services on Dec. 21.
St. James Church at 503 Clark St. in Waverly and St. Patrick Church at 300 Main St. in Owego will each host a service that begins at 7 p.m. and will be followed by refreshments. All those grieving the loss of a loved one at this difficult time of year are welcome as well as those that are suffering with the loss of a marriage, a job or are hurting in some way.
