The Owego Elks Lodge #1039 will hold its annual Memorial Sunday service on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. at its lodge at 223 Front St. in Owego. This solemn and inspirational service is held to honor and remember all Owego Elks who have passed away.
The Elks will pay special tribute to its members who have departed during the past year: Harold E. Sackett, Richard M. Pedro, Ralph G. Meza, Elwood L. Lee, Richard J. Harper, and James L. Ford. Families of the departed members will be the Elks special guests.
The public is cordially invited to attend the service, which will be followed by a complimentary light dinner. Musical selections will be offered by the Four of Hearts barbershop quartet.
