34th Annual Home Tour & Auction fundraiser to benefit Tioga Arts Council

Experience the architectural charm and character of Owego! The community is cordially invited to Tioga Arts Council’s (TAC) 34th Annual Home Tour and Auction, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6. The tour this year features seven historic buildings and is a wonderful opportunity to observe the creative ways in which historic spaces are used by contemporary families and businesses. In addition to the buildings located in Owego’s Historic District, a beautifully restored farmhouse, located just outside of Owego, will be included as part of the tour.

The afternoon tour begins at 1 p.m. and the evening tour begins at 6 p.m. All tours depart from the Owego Elks Lodge, located on the corner of Front Street and Church Street. Tickets for both tours are $20 each ($15 for Tioga Arts Council Members) and include admission to the after tour party, which begins at 8:15 p.m. and features a performance by Old Friends!

A silent auction will begin at noon on Dec. 6, with bids accepted until 9:30 p.m. that evening. The auction will feature quality items and services from local businesses, and will take place at the Owego Elks Lodge.

Tickets may be purchased prior to the event via email (tiogaartscouncil@gmail.com), telephone (607) 687-0785, or by stopping at the Tioga Arts Council at 179 Front St. in Owego. Purchase your tickets with cash, check or credit card. On the day of the event, tickets will be available at the Owego Elks Lodge.

All funds raised help TAC fulfill its vision to inspire and support a vibrant, creative community in and around Tioga County.
