Help is needed with the annual collection of new or like new toys for distribution to needy families in Apalachin (13832), Campville east to the Broome County line, and Little Meadows (18830).
With the generous support of many individuals, and organizations in the Apalahin community, the Apalachin Lions have been helping needy families for over 50 years with food and gifts during the holiday season, and with numerous other forms of assistance throughout the year.
Collection barrels will be in the lobby of the Apalachin Elementary School, Tioga Hills School, Apalachin Pharmacy, Apalachin Library, and White Tails in Little Meadows until Dec. 10.
