Splendors Auction to take place

Bid high, and bid often! St. Patrick School will host its “Splendors Auction 2014” beginning at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 14 at the Owego VFW, 207 Main St. The event will benefit St. Patrick School with a portion of the auction proceeds donated to the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club.

This is the eighth year for the event, and it has become one of the largest annual fundraisers for St. Patrick School. A full night of bidding excitement with good food, drink, and company is just $15.00 per person pre-sale or $100.00 for a table of eight. Tickets at the door are $20.00 per person.

The ticket price includes admission to the event, heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, champagne punch, and an auction number for the silent and live auctions. Reserve your seat by stopping at St. Patrick School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday or by calling 687-1770.

The silent auction portion of the evening will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the live auction at 7:30 p.m. A book of auction items will be distributed to ticket holders the week of the auction.

Donations of goods and services from local and nationwide businesses continue to arrive daily and will continue to do so right up to auction night. A sampling of items to be auctioned off includes Disney Park Hopper Passes, vacation getaways, personal fitness training sessions, sports memorabilia, a 39-inch Magnavox television, a Rubbermaid vacuum, passes to recreational parks, and much more!
