Dealing with drugs in the workplace

Join the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce for a morning edition of Bite-Sized Pursuits at the Tioga County Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (TCCASA) where you will learn how businesses are affected by drugs in the workplace.  The dangers of drug, alcohol and tobacco use during employment, working while under the influence, and what employers can do will all be discussed.

Christie Speciale, executive director for TCCASA; Tammy M. Borrelli, TCCASA prevention educator; and Lisa Westin Bailey, CCE community educator will share their knowledge and other information about how to be proactive as employers if the situation arises.

The seminar will be held Thursday, Nov. 20, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the TCCASA Offices at 6 McMaster St., Suite 4 in Owego.
