Dear Editor,
Most of the south bound big trucks on North Avenue do not have downtown Owego as their destination. They want to get to the expressway or to other roads east or west in the Susquehanna Valley.
They all have to take the North Avenue underpass, but beyond that they would welcome an alternative route to get past downtown and on their way to their destinations.
By doing so they would make it easier for all to use North Avenue to reach their downtown destinations. Shops and restaurants would benefit from that.
