The Candor Historical Society will hold their last meeting of the year on Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. at the Candor Town Hall. Historian Carol Henry will present a roundtable discussion on Old Postcards of Candor through a PowerPoint presentation.
These postcards are part of the historian’s collection, as well as a variety of old postcards that were on loan to her over the past few years. Some of the people and locations depicted are well known, while others need your help to identify them. This will be an informal talk, where everyone is encouraged to join in throughout the presentation.
The public is invited and encouraged to bring in their own postcards to share with others. The Candor Historical Society’s meetings are always free and open to the public, and refreshments are always on the table.
