On Oct. 3, Kitty Corner Antiques held a grand opening at 401-403 Main St. in Owego, N.Y. – the former location of Everybody’s Country Store. The store will offer high quality items donated to benefit Happy Tails Rescue, an organization working out of Bradford County, Pa. and Tioga County, N.Y.
Since the opening, they have made approximately $400 for the fund. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of these items will go to Happy Tails’ Rescue fund.
Happy Tails’ current focus is the Trap/Neuter/Return efforts of homeless cats. Since late 2009, the group has spayed and neutered over 700 cats. And is always looking for donations to fund the efforts.
What isn’t sold in the store will be sold at a variety of sales held annually to include rummage sales, book sales, plant sales, etc.
Happy Tails Rescue is a not-for-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible. To donate, call (607) 687-2433, or stop by and pay them a visit at Kitty Corner Antiques.
