‘Sight Night’ places focus on giving this Halloween

This year, some kids will collect more than candy on Halloween. They will help give the gift of sight by gathering used eyeglasses while they trick-or-treat throughout the community. The Apalachin Lions, along with Apalachin Elementary School will be collecting glasses from Oct. 27 through Nov. 1.

If the “ghouls and boys” don’t make it to your house on Sight Night, have no fear. Used eyeglasses can be dropped off year-round at all Lens Crafters stores, the Apalachin Library, or any Apalachin Lion
