Animal Care Sanctuary opens pool to dogs

TOWANDA, Pa. — On Aug. 30, the Towanda YMCA pool will be going to the dogs! Join Animal Care Sanctuary for this community event for dogs and their owners. Dogs will be able to swim off-leash in the pool for this end-of-summer event. The cost of admission is $10 per dog. Their human family gets in free! Admission tickets will be sold at the door. Craft vendors will be set up at the pool, and in-kind donations for the pets at Animal Care Sanctuary are always appreciated. One dog per handler is allowed, dogs must be in sight and under verbal control of their owner, and you must be 18 to be handling a dog. Multiple family members per dog are welcome!
