My name is Hailee Shrauger and I am an incoming sophomore at Owego Free Academy (OFA). Last September I was invited by my choral director to go on a trip with American Music Abroad (AMA). We raised money through a can drive and several generous donations from kind people and businesses. During this trip, I visited Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Hungary.

We climbed the Swiss Alps and visited the small medieval town of Rothenberg ob der Tauber.
I made many friends from New York and New Jersey! We visited many sights such as Beethoven’s home and Schönbrunn Palace. We did many walking tours and performed eight concerts in Europe.

This was an amazing opportunity for me and a once-in-a-lifetime trip, so I want to thank all of the family, friends and businesses who generously donated to make this trip possible!
If you’d like to see more from my trip, go to Facebook and search for America Music Abroad Red Tour 2026.
