Ashley and Ryan will reunite with former bandmates and 607 music scene musicians: James Schmitz on bass and Jordan Greene on drums. This long-awaited reunion brings back together the band’s 2018 lineup that first built their hometown following.

Today, the band is excited to celebrate where it all began and to engage with the community that supported them from the start.

Ashley’s performance is sponsored, in part, by Armstrong Music House.

Ashley and her fiancé Ryan, who met in 2020, are both natives of the Southern Tier. Ashley is a 2011 OFA graduate, and during her high school years, performed with Owego’s own Making the Band. Ryan is from Chenango Forks and previously played on the 607 music scene.

The couple moved to the Tampa, Florida, area in 2021, and ever since then, have been performing as the Ashley Lux Band at venues from north Florida all the way to Key West.

The Strawberry Fest brings back special memories for Ashley, and she remarked, “There is just something special about playing this festival with our hometown crowd,” adding, “And we’re coming home to bring the party back to where it all started.”

Ashley and Ryan explained that their goal, as it is at every show, is to make Strawberry Fest-goers feel a part of it, and said, “We want to create a cool and fun experience for everyone.”

From familiar, high-energy songs recorded by famous artists like Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the U.S.A.” to timeless classics such as “Stuck in the Middle with You” by Stealers Wheel, the Ashley Lux Band has a song for every age group.

The couple reminisced about their humble beginnings and how, through consistent hard work and while focusing on their passion to perform, they feel they have grown significantly in creating entertainment for audiences.

In the future, Ashley and Ryan have a goal of writing more music of their own and producing an E.P. Check out the music video, “Stay,” on their website or YouTube to get a flavor for their original music.

So, get ready, Owego, for the Ashley Lux Band on June 19, and, as they share on their website, “Energizing, attitude-elevating, mood-swinging, body-moving, and electrifying positive vibes.”
