Letter: We are witnessing a WORLDWIDE REVIVAL!

Dear Editor,

I believe that the most significant event occurring for any of us is currently unfolding. I assume many of you are aware that Charlie Kirk was assassinated during a speaking engagement due to disagreement with his views. The topic he was discussing at the time of his death was gun control. He allowed them to choose the topic for debate, after which he would provide his perspective based on his biblical and godly beliefs. He serves as the CEO of Turning Point, which has initiated around 900 groups in colleges across America and overseas.

Charlie was 31 years old; he was happily married and had a three-year-old girl and a one-year-old boy. He found joy in his work due to his love for God and Jesus. His primary focus was to serve God by connecting with young people in college, providing them a platform to voice their concerns and address the issues they faced. He offered them an opportunity to voice their concerns, followed by participating in debates where he shared his perspective rooted in the Bible on possible solutions.

His approach gained popularity among young individuals, with thousands attending his events to express themselves and potentially gain insights. Regrettably, there was at least one individual who harbored anger towards these events and took action. Upon learning about the event at Utah Valley University (UNU) nearby, he intervened in the positive work Charlie was undertaking.

He planned and carried out the assassination of Charlie Kirk on Sept. 10, 2025, as he was interacting with the students. This was truly a shot heard around the world. The entire world has stepped up in an astonishing display of support for Charlie Kirk’s family and the narrative he promoted. Practically every major city and country has organized huge support events: vigils, memorials, marches, demonstrations, and every imaginable way to honor Charlie Kirk and demonstrate compassion and empathy towards his wife and children. Trucks travel the roads with gigantic electronic images of Charlie on the sides. Billboards depicting him and his messages of peace and love for God, and even a massive statue is being erected in his hometown.

Most of the major sporting events honored him with gigantic electronic images, and flags are flying at half-staff. Huge gatherings of supporters are cropping up all over the world!! England had a march with three million people from Poland, Germany, Italy, and Spain. South Korea, Nicaragua, Australia, France and China are a partial list. There are too many countries to count showing epic support, with millions of people supporting this man who until that day was unknown to most of them.

It gets better. Charlie’s dream was to reach as many people as he could to bring them to an understanding of the Love of God for them. One person said, “they thought they were going to bury him and his message, but they didn’t realize he was a seed.” Thousands, maybe millions of people have declared they want to be like Charlie. No, they actually want to be like Charlie and use their lives to proclaim the goodness of God as well. There are long lines to enter churches in certain locations. Charlie’s organization, Turning Point, has 900 groups across America; now they have received over 37,000 applications to start new groups!

Ladies and gentlemen, we are witnessing a WORLDWIDE REVIVAL! I’m sorry, but, Thank You Charlies Kirk! Thank you, God! We send our most sincere condolences to Erika Kirk, Charlie’s wife, and her two children. Erika has already declared that the cries of this widow (referring to herself) will be like a battle cry around the world. She will NOT let anyone forget the name Charlie Kirk!

If you are reading this and you are not a believing Christian, you might be asking yourself, “How is this a good thing for me?” That is a good question. If thousands, maybe millions, of people are trying to live their lives in a more Godly and principled way around you, being accepting, not judgmental or critical and trying to interact with you and everyone else in a non-confrontational way, exchanging thoughts and ideas in a positive way, the way Charlie was teaching, this will most certainly have a positive effect on you.

You may be impressed by how much happier people seem to be and want to be happy too. Just observe the difference in people’s attitudes and see if life God’s way might just be more appealing than what you are used to.
