Maddie’s Meadows Pet of the Week for the week of April 5, 2020

Hello there. My name is Lilly. Don’t you think I am beautiful? For an old kitty I think I look very good. 

I have to admit that I have been a little cranky lately though. I can’t really explain it, maybe it’s because I am getting older. 

For one thing all I want to do all day is to sit on Nancy’s lap or by the heater, but she never sits down so I can’t do that; and then there are other cats here that also want to do that, so we have a problem. 

I will show my displeasure with the other cats coming around by hissing at them, loudly. If that doesn’t scare them off then I will leave. I have my pride you know. 

I will find a nice place next to the heater. I really like being warm. It’s not a bad life, really. 

Since we are closed because of COVID-19 for a while you can’t come to meet me, but maybe when that has blown over I’ll be resting here at Maddie’s Meadows.
