Fun continues at the Fair

Fun continues at the FairRides, by Gillette Shows, open at 2 p.m. today, and then at noon on Saturday.

The fun, thrills, and excitement continues today at the Tioga County Fair in Owego. With two evenings of demolition derby action complete, tonight’s show will pack the stands with even more action as the Power Wheels, V8 Stock, V8 Modified, 4 Cyl Stock, 4 Cyl Modified, 4 Cyl Feature take to the track at 7 p.m.

And don’t forget about the 4H activities taking place. The remaining schedule of 4H activities for today and tomorrow are as follows.

TODAY: Friday, Aug. 9 – 8 a.m. 4-H Food Booth and Dairy Bar opens; 9 a.m. 4-H Fun Horse Show; 10 a.m. 4-H Poultry Show; 12 p.m. 4-H Air Rifle Trailer opens; 3 p.m. 4-H Small Animal Costume Show; 3 p.m. 4-H Dog Exhibition

Saturday, Aug. 10 – 8 a.m. 4-H Food Booth and Dairy Bar opens; 9 a.m. 4-H Raiser of the Year Tests in Youth Building; 12 p.m. 4-H Air Rifle Trailer opens; 6:30 p.m. Presentation of awards; 7 p.m. 52nd Annual 4-H Livestock Auction

Gillette Shows is also running their rides beginning at 2 p.m. today, so be sure to head on over to the fair; admission is $10 and includes the rides, features, and attractions – to include the demolition derby.
