This pretty kitty is Barbie. She came to Maddie’s Meadows with her mom and a sibling. They are both gone now, but she lingers on because she is quite shy with strangers. If you spend a little time with her she usually comes around.
It is difficult to convince kitties that come from horrible backgrounds that strangers can be trusted. Barbie just needs patience and love. She is affectionate and friendly, so Maddie’s Meadows believes she would adjust in a new home and with a new family.
She probably would do best in a quiet family without a lot of people and other animals, though she does get along with most of the cats. They believe that Barbie deserves a home of her own and they are hoping that someone will step up and give her a chance.
