Vacation Bible School will be offered on Sunday through Tuesday, June 30-July 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Union Church, located at North Avenue and Temple Street in Owego. Vacation Bible School is a popular annual summer activity for children throughout the U.S.A.
This free program is for children finishing kindergarten through fifth grade. Each evening will include a free child-friendly supper (Sunday – Chicken Nuggets, Monday – Hot Dogs and Tuesday – Mac & Cheese); a wonderful, water-themed Bible story; fun songs and play; arts and crafts and a water-related story about a child in a different part of the world.
The Vacation Bible School teachers and volunteers include gifted public school teachers, experienced parents and grandparents who are very caring and creative.
