Berkshire Free Library to host Fall Book Sale

The annual Berkshire Free Library Fall Book Sale will begin on Friday, Aug. 31, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The sale will continue the next week on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 6 and 7, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and conclude on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

The sale will again be held in the lower level of the Berkshire Community Hall, located at 11 Jewett Hill Rd., behind the library.

Book lovers will find hard covers and paperbacks; current bestselling authors and old favorites; mysteries, romance and suspense; history, cookbooks, health, craft books and a variety of non-fiction topics.

Two books by Richford native Charles Yaple will be raffled: Foxey Brown: A story of an Adirondack Outlaw, Hermit, and Guide as He might Have Told It and Jacob’s Land: Revolutionary War Soldiers, Schemers, Scoundrels, and the Settling of New York’ Frontier.
