Start your garden off right! And for free!

Come to the 4H building at the Tioga County Fairgrounds anytime from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 28, and go home with a tray of seeds that will bring great bounty to your garden this summer.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County was given a huge bounty of seed starting materials and would love for you to join them for Seed A Rama. This totally free event features trays of seed starting materials, free seeds, and lots of gardening information for you to have the best garden ever.

From beans to squash and from tomatoes to flowers, they have it all. Have your own special seeds? Bring them and take home a tray or two of seed starts for your garden.

Tioga County Master Gardeners will be on hand to help you through the seed starting activities.

This fun event is open to all, but they would especially like to welcome folks who are new to gardening as well as children and families. This would be a great event to bring your Boy Scout, Girl Scout or 4H Club to.

The Tioga County Fairground entrance is located across the street from Price Chopper on Main Street.
