Interactive program presented for parents on teen drug abuse

CASA-Trinity and the Berkshire Free Library present Shawna has a Secret. The program will be held on Wednesday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. in the Berkshire Community Hall located on Jewett Hill Road and behind the library.

This new program offers parents, grandparents, and other concerned adults the chance to explore a typical teenager’s bedroom. Shawna has been acting different lately and we need your help to find signs of substance use that she may be trying to hide.

A CASA-Trinity Prevention Specialist will then take you through the signs and talk with you about what to do. The program lasts approximately 90 minutes.

Call the Berkshire Free Library to register for this event at (607) 657-4418.

CASA (Council on Alcohol and Substance Abuse)-Trinity of Tioga County, located at 6 McMaster St. in Owego, is funded through the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
