Tioga County Chamber of Commerce announces 2018 Leadership Tioga Program

The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2018 Leadership Tioga program and welcome LeeAnn Tinney as Program Facilitator.  “LeeAnn is one of the co-founders of the Leadership program when it was developed in 1999, and we are pleased to welcome her back as the Program Facilitator,” Gwen Kania, Chamber president and CEO stated. “We are eager to see what new energy she will bring.”

The Leadership Tioga Certification Program offers one, two and a half hour morning class a month beginning in January and ending in November. Various class locations throughout the County will give participants the opportunity to learn more about what Tioga County has to offer. Dynamic speakers will discuss topics ranging from volunteerism, performance management, public safety and human services, to name just a few.

“I am very excited to renew my involvement in Leadership Tioga,” stated Tinney.  “The program focuses on exposing current and emerging leaders to the issues that affect our communities, businesses and the public.”

Leadership Tioga is committed to inspiring and connecting participants to services in our community by promoting personal growth, leadership development, networking and skill building. The 2018 program also includes a joint session with the NYPenn Leadership group.

Tuition for the 11 month certification program is $300, $270 for those 60 and over. Tuition must be paid in full prior to the first class and is non-refundable.

Registration deadline is Jan. 2, 2018; the first session will be held on Jan. 9.
