Mr. Pete and Dusty Wayne will be performing at Thursday’s Farmers Market.
On Thursday, Sept. 14, the Thursday Farmers Market will offer special events for children of all ages. The market is taking place at Draper Park on Front Street near the bridge (note the location change), and will be held from 4 to 7 p.m.
Children will receive coupons at the market so they can choose their own produce from participating farmers. There will also be face painting and ice cream, chalk art, hoola hoops, bubbles and more. During the market, there will also be music by Mr. Pete and Dusty Wayne, as well as animals from 4-H.

Children can also learn about caterpillars, butterflies and planting flowers to attract them. There will also be coloring sheets and butterfly word find, among other activities.
As always, the Thursday Night Farmers Market has great, local produce from farmers, food served by Owego restaurants, and Farmhouse Brewery bringing brew and hand crafted soda.
