The Jacobs Brothers, of Dillsburg, Pa., are returning for the eighth consecutive year to the East Smithfield Federated Church on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. This group is always well received by the local public as they perform their special blend of sacred music.
The Jacobs Brothers group consists of two brothers, Bob and Mike Jacobs, who are original members of the group, which started in 1962. Mike Lawver joined the group in 1972.
The group is dedicated to spreading the Gospel through song and has done so for 50 years. The Jacobs Brothers travel many miles each year performing over 200 concerts per year.
In Central Pennsylvania on Channel 49, WGCB-TV, The Jacobs Brothers have a weekly television Program that airs on Friday nights at 10:30 p.m. They also have a King’s Kid Camp ministry for underprivileged children during the summer months.
All are welcome to come and enjoy a very worshipful evening. A love offering will be collected to benefit the group’s ministry. The Federated Church is located at the corner of Church and Main Streets in East Smithfield, Pa.
