The Public Health Department noted that immunizations are an important part of Public Health and Guthrie Waverly has set the standard for Tioga County.

Tioga County Public Health works with several practices each year to set realistic goals for increasing immunizations.

In a release from Public Health, they stated, “Staff members at Guthrie Waverly worked hard to review each patient’s vaccine record to get their data up to date.” Tioga County Supervising Public Health Nurse Mel Miller added, “We truly appreciate the work that they did as it now gives us more accurate data to work with and assures us that children are getting vaccinated.”
