Photos: Chips party collects donations for Maddie’s Meadows

Howie and Pat Newman, of Apalachin, N.Y., attend the party for Chips at The Cellar Restaurant last Sunday. The Newman’s were driving up in the Sunnyside Drive area in Owego when they saw a cat that looked like Chips, the missing cat. They went and picked up a Pennysaver to double-check the photo, and realized it was Chips. They called Bob Layman, the owner of The Cellar and the owner of Chips, and told him to come up right away.
