Fatherhood Groups taking place in Owego and Waverly

The New Pathways for Fathers Program is holding free Fatherhood Groups in both Owego and Waverly. They would love for dads, father figures, expecting fathers, and even mothers to attend.

The staff is trained in the evidence-based program “24/7 DAD”, which was created by the National Fatherhood Initiative.

Participants will learn parenting skills, relationship skills, communication skills, anger management, discipline and more, through fun activities and interactive discussions.

They are accepting participants for the following groups:

In Owego, the group will take place on Thursdays, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at 1277 Taylor Rd. in Owego.

On Fridays, the group will meet from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 12 Cooper St. in Waverly.

For both groups, the program will provide transportation, childcare and meals (for both parents and children).

To register, call Dan Lesch at (607) 723-8313 ext. 838 or email to Fatherhood@familyenrichment.org.
