The Apalachin Lions Club awarded $3,000 in scholarships for 2016. Each winner received $1,000 at his or her respective award ceremonies.
The scholarship is to promote and reward young people for service to their community and school. This year’s three winners are Michayla Jenkins from Owego Free Academy, Courtney Hellman from Ross Corners Christian Academy, and Jessica Duff from Vestal Senior High.
