Hiawatha Thunder U9 boys’ soccer team finished first last Saturday in the 11th annual 7v7 North Star soccer tournament. The Thunder defeated FC Dynamo from Rochester, N.Y. with a score of 5-1 for the championship. The U9 team played against some of New York State’s top premier teams in their age bracket. Winning this annual tournament that is held at Syracuse University is a major accomplishment for the team. Congratulations boys!
