The Candor Chamber of Commerce is holding a public meeting on May 12, at 7 p.m. at the Candor Fire Station. At this meeting, Candor Chamber member Dave Astorina will present an outline of the Revitalize Candor Campaign, and Senator Fred Akshar will be a guest speaker.
The Candor Chamber is embarking on a program to revitalize the Candor community, starting with a beautification plan as phase one. The main focus of the plan is to use Candor’s location on Route 96 between Ithaca and Owego or Binghamton to its advantage.
The public is invited to share thoughts and ideas to help make this possible. Refreshments will be available.
