The Tioga History Museum is pleased to announce a special event during the “Quilts by the River” Exhibition. On Friday, March 25, David Mapes from Mapes Auctioneers and Appraisers will be performing quilt appraisals for $10.00. This is an ideal time to learn about the history and/or value of your treasured quilts.
Mapes will be performing appraisals from 1 to 3 p.m. In order to secure your spot, call (607) 687-2460 to schedule a time.
Join them on Saturdays throughout the show (and the occasional Friday), from March 5 to April 30 for special demonstrations by local quilting professionals. Demos are $10.00 per class. Check out their demo schedule on their Facebook page and website, tiogahistory.org.
