On Feb. 8, 2016, at approximately 7:06 a.m., New York State Police at
Endwell arrested Jacob M. Browne, 27, of Endicott, N.Y. for the misdemeanors of assault 3rd and unlawful imprisonment 2nd.
This arrest occurred after troopers responded to a Broome County 911 report of a domestic dispute in a moving vehicle that finally stopped on Wilson Avenue in the Town of Union.
An investigation determined that Jacob M. Browne was driving with his girlfriend when they had a physical dispute. According to police, as he was driving he struck her, causing an injury and also would not stop and let her out.
Jacob M. Browne was arraigned in the Town of Union court and was remanded to the Broome County jail. His next court date is pending.
