On Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, Julie Werkheiser, age 40 of Waverly, N.Y. was sentenced to 11 years to life after a jury found her guilty in November of two counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, an A-II felony, for oral sexual conduct against two different children under 13 years of age.
The cases were investigated by the Waverly Police Department.
The offenses occurred between July 2006 and November 2007, at the Studio J Dance Studio, on Broad Street in Waverly, N.Y. where Julie Werkheiser was owner and also worked as a dance instructor.
