The Tioga County Public Health Department would like to recognize Dan Scherrer as the Team Member of the 1st Quarter.
Scherrer began working at the Public Health Department in November of 2013 as a Public Health Sanitarian. Scherrer is originally from Florida and relocated to Owego in 2009.
As a Sanitarian, Scherrer organizes the department’s rabies clinics, ensures the drinking water is safe, works to keep tobacco out of the hands of minors, and does home inspections for the Healthy Neighborhoods Program.
