Buster D. Hyer, 39.
The Owego Police Department arrested Buster D. Hyer, 39, and William M. Hyer, 32, of Owego, N.Y. on Jan. 24, 2016 for Aiding and Abetting Petit Larceny, Class A Misdemeanors and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree, Class A Misdemeanors.
William and Buster Hyer were caught on video surveillance stealing property from local Owego businesses and then re-selling the stolen property to other Owego businesses.
Buster Hyer and William Hyer are to appear in the Village of Owego Court on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to their charges.
The investigation is ongoing as there have been several items stolen in Owego that have not been located. Anyone with information on this is asked to contact the Owego Police by calling (607) 687-2117.
