Vendors sought Berkshire Blueberry and Books Festival

Marcia Stell, Sandy Negus, Karen McNally, and LuAnn Whirl planning are pictured during the planning of the first annual Berkshire Blueberries and Books Festival.

Vendors are being sought for the Berkshire Blueberry and Books Festival to be held Saturday, July 25. The event is being sponsored by the Berkshire Free Library, which serves residents of Berkshire and Richford.

The Berkshire Fire Department will be participating with a Chicken BBQ. Library volunteers will serve blueberry pancakes and crepes in the morning, along with a bake sale throughout the day.

The Community Hall, located behind the library, will host a book sale upstairs and a Trash and Treasures Sale downstairs.  Several music groups and an old car display are also planned along with many special raffle baskets.  Games are planned for the children as well as goodies from “Miss Blueberry”.

Vendor slots (10 x 10) are available at $10 each. Vendors provide their own table and/or pop-up tent. Contact Sandy Negus at 657-8272 to reserve your space or for more information.
