Jeff Howell, former bass guitarist of Foghat, The Outlaws, Savoy Brown and others, performed on Wednesday with band member Dan Stillwell, guitarist and vocalist with their band, The Cats, for Bike Night at Owego’s Parkview Hotel and Restaurant located on Front Street in Owego, N.Y. and near the Court Street Bridge.
Excellent weather and a fantastic performance by The Cats, featuring band members Jeff Howell, Dan Stillwell and Adrian McCloskey, was the perfect equation for another successful Bike Night event at Owego’s Parkview Hotel and Restaurant on Front Street in Owego, N.Y. on Wednesday.
Even though the performance by The Cats began at 6:30 p.m., motorcycles were arriving early to enjoy some food while anticipating the powerful two-hour set delivered by The Cats, a band that features Jeff Howell, former bassist with Foghat, The Outlaws, and Savoy Brown.
This coming Wednesday, June 24, Spexxx will perform from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Celebrating the long arc of American and British rock and roll, pop and country, The Spexxx Band plays all your favorite songs with road proven musicianship and a knowing spirit.
Elvis, Credence, Santana and Grateful Dead – Beatles, Stones, Kinks and Pink Floyd – Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and Brad Paisley – Eagles, REM, Dire Straights, John Mayer and Green Day. The Spexx Band plays all this music (and much more) with authentic, “been there, done that” attitude.
The band is comprised of members Brian Murphy – Bass and Vocals, David Rae – Keyboards and Vocals, Larry Richards – Lead Guitar and Vocals, and Tom Lorden – Drums and Vocals.
The event is free of charge to the community, with motorcycles parking along Front Street and along Draper Park.
