In 2008, an endowment fund to benefit the Tioga Outreach Center was created through the Community Foundation of the Twin Tiers, with contributions from Marty Borko and Angela Klopf.
This fund would help Catholic Charities Tioga Outreach Center with operating costs, but first there must be sufficient donations in the fund. The fund is given ten years to grow to the minimum level necessary, and that deadline is approaching.
The Tioga Outreach Center helps anyone in need and has been caring about our community since 1997 – offering a food pantry, SNAP outreach, emergency financial assistance, youth programming and other services.
The Center works hard for grants to fund direct services to people in need, but operating costs are not usually covered in grants.
Donations can be sent to the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers, 104 W. Lockhart St., Sayre, Pa. 18840 with the agency name in the memo line of your check or by going to the website www.twintierscf.org, clicking “donate now” and picking Catholic Charities Tioga Outreach Center from the drop down box of funds.
