Cure your “cabin fever” at the 2nd annual Trash and Treasurers Rummage Sale to benefit the Berkshire Free Library. This year’s sale will be Feb. 6 and 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., downstairs at the Berkshire Community Hall, Jewett Hill Road, behind the library.

The sale’s name is from the old saying, “One man’s trash is another’s treasure”.  Search for treasures such as authentic naval ship baseball hats with each ship’s name on the hat. Wooden decoy ducks, “Red Rose” china animals, decorative teacups, and “depression glass” are just a sampling. Find a Valentine’s gift for your sweetheart.

Warm up on coffee or cocoa and home baked treats or take some home to enjoy.  Browse through the large selection of Romance novels, just in time for Valentine’s Day. To donate an item, contact Sandy at 657-8272 or bring to the library during regular hours of Tuesday from noon to 5 p.m., Wednesday from 1:30 to 7 p.m., Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m., Friday from 1:30 to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

No book donations are being accepted at this time, as space is limited.
