Sherwood Groves Auto Group will be taking donations for the Towanda Area Christian Outreach Food Pantry (TACO Food Pantry) during the Sherwood Groves Powersports Open House on Nov. 28 and 29.
The TACO Food Pantry has served residents from the Towanda, Wyalusing and Northeast Bradford school districts since 1982. The volunteers help to alleviate the burdens facing those without sufficient food or the money to purchase food.
TACO is in need of food items, personal care items such as soap, laundry detergent, dish washing liquid, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorants and toilet paper. Sherwood Groves will collect any of these items as well as monetary donations for the Food Pantry.
The Open House will run on Friday, Nov. 28 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations can be made during these hours at the dealership located on the Golden Mile, Towanda, Pa.
