Citizen Preparedness Training offered throughout the Southern Tier

In partnership with New York State, the American Red Cross is offering free Citizen Preparedness Corps training sessions throughout the Southern Tier from mid-November through mid-December. The session is called Prepare, Respond, Recover: What To Do When Disaster Strikes. The training session is free and open to the public.

In the Southern Tier, the training will be held on the following dates, locally: 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, Broome West Senior Center, 2801 Wayne St., Endwell; at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, Christ The King Lutheran Church, 499 Plaza Drive, Vestal; 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, Windsor Middle School, 213 Main St., Windsor; 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, Tioga County offices, 56 Main St., Owego; 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, Northern Broome Senior Center, 12 Strongs Place, Whitney Point; and at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, First Ward Senior Center, 226 Clinton St., Binghamton.
