The Town of Owego Highway Department will pick up leaves only beginning Oct. 27, and will end pick up on Nov. 14, weather permitting.
The Town will only accept leaves in biodegradable paper bags. Bags will not be picked up if there is other debris in the bags. They will not pick up plastic bags or loose leaves.
There will be no return trips through neighborhoods that have already received pick up service. All bagged leaves must be at the curb by Sunday, Oct. 26. There will be no brush pick up this fall.
