The community of Newark Valley continued its annual tradition of celebrating summer with Summerfest, held July 27 and 28 at multiple locations throughout the town and village.

Formerly known as Newark Valley Days, the event offers activities for all ages, along with live music and entertainment, superb food, and a not-to-miss parade.

Because of the rainfall accumulations that week, Trout Pond Park activities were moved to The Depot.
