OWEGO — On Sept. 1, The Owego Kiwanis Aktion Club met over at Hickories Park in Pavilion #2 for an annual election planning and picnic. Sebby S. Truesdail was elected as First President of Owego Kiwanis Aktion Club back in March 2024. Truesdail then became past president since October 2025, before it was handed over to Brad Harris, current president of Aktion Club for the 2025-26 season. Harris now hands his position to the newest Aktion Club president for the 2026-27 season, John Williams. Vice president Regan Clark also stepped down, and will be replaced by Mark Hawthorne for the 2026-2027 season.
The Aktion Club normally meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Teen Center at the Tioga County Boys & Girls Club, but the next meeting will meet from noon to 2 p.m. over at Iron Kettle Farm in Candor. A big thank you goes to Brad Harris for everything he did for Kiwanis Aktion Club in the 2025-26 season.
