OFA MTB, Monthly Community Dinner and Veteran Recognition on November 10 at the Owego Elks Lodge

On Friday, Nov. 10, from 5-7 p.m., the Owego Elks Lodge welcomes Owego Free Academy’s MTB (Making The Band) during their Monthly Community Dinner service. Under the direction of Mrs. Lindsey Williams, MTB is comprised of students in grades nine thru 12. Performing contemporary pop, rock and classic hits, MTB highlights the vocal and instrumental talents of students. This entertainment is open to the public.

That evening, the Lodge kitchen is serving Beef Tips with gravy over noodles. Dinners are available for pick-up starting at 5 p.m. You may also choose to dine in the ballroom while listening to music provided by Owego Free Academy’s MTB.

In recognition of our Veterans, the Lodge is providing free meals to our past and current servicemen. Dinners will be served on a first come, first served basis unless you call the Lodge to reserve your free meal. Your family is encouraged to join you at an additional cost of $15 per person.

Dinner service starts at 5 p.m. and is served until it is gone. Secure your meals by preordering by calling (607) 687-1039 by Nov. 6; leave a message with your name, phone number, and number of dinners requested.  Payment can be made at the time of the dinner with cash, check or credit.

The Owego Elks Lodge is located at 223 Front St. in the village of Owego. The proceeds from this dinner will benefit their Building Improvement Fund.
