Stray Haven Pet of the Week for the week of April 19, 2020

Hey, friends! My name is Caesar and I’m a 5-year-old shepherd mix. I’ve been through a lot already in my life and I’m finally ready to find a home that will be everything I deserve.

This shelter is a new place and it’s a little scary if I’m being honest. I’ve only lived in one other place, so all of this is very new to me. The staff is trying their best to make me feel comfortable and happy, and I think they’re pretty great!

I really like to run and play and I’m a happy guy. I am very confident and strong, but I can also be a loving boy who gives some kisses if I like you enough! My previous owner said that I am good with cats, but we will really test that at the shelter when they introduce me to some different kitties.

I don’t know how I feel about dogs, but my previous owners said I was a little too rough for them. I am not good with kids, they run and yell too much and I mistake that for play. My play style can be rough, so I would need to go to a home without kids under the age of 15.

I am house-trained, so that’s cool, right? I also know how to sit, shake, other paw, and lay down. I think the perfect home for me would be with an experienced dog owner who can handle my personality, as well as my physical strength.

I would love to live with only adults, that way we can have a calm home with snuggles and appropriate playing. I’m so excited to find the home that’s just right for me; maybe it’s with you?

I am currently in foster care at Furry Friends Inn in Lockwood. If you would like to meet me, give them a call at (607) 598-8292 to schedule a meet and greet. Can’t wait to meet you!
